The Latin name of the plants is Aeschynanthus and it is a genus that has about 185 species. They are originated from Indonesia, New Guinea and the Philippines. Most of them have flowers that have vivid colors and in the nature they are pollinated by sunbirds. Even the size can vary from large to small.

We can see that these plants really are diversified and we can imagine that it isn’t too easy to care for them. Here are some tips about how to take care about these exotic plants. As I have already mentioned, most of them are kept in hanging baskets because they are trailing plants. Given the fact that they are tropical plants, it is most natural that they need sunlight, humidity and moisture in order to be able to grow as they should.
